Easter Weekend

I Know it's a little late but I thought I'd post a few pictures from our fun Easter Weekend.  We went out to my parents house on Wizard lake with my family for the day.  Here are some pics of the day.

My Dad made some PVC pipe marshmallow shooter guns and we had a "family friendly" war outside.  Everyone had bags of ammo and ran around shooting eachother. I got one in the face that REALLY HURT!   You can see my Dad in the background of this picture getting ready to shoot Mark.

  Here's an attempt at getting all the grand-kids in one picture!  Josh has a "personal space" issue and was NOT thrilled about being close with his older cousins.  HE LOVES and adores them... but from a distance.  What a funny kid. He's not a big fan of crowds and caos (kinda like his Mom) so we are working on this! He sure is cute though.

  The Loot basket.  Josh doesn't have a big love for candy (this he for sure got form Mark!)  but he was very thrilled to get a little chick with a button on it to make noise. (over and over and over)

On Sunday Afternoon we went down to our favorite spot down by the muttart and went for a long walk.  Josh loves  "Walking walking walking" as he calls it.  He tends to want to wander or focus on doing one curb over and over so if I say "WALKING" then he knows we need to make some distance and he will do anything to not have to hold my hand or get in the stroller. He is ultra MR Independant!

Let's Play!

Our favorite thing about our new place is that there is more room to PLAY! I just finally finished organizing the play room and it is now one of my favorite rooms in the house. I bought this wall decal off of lightinthebox.com which is an awesome website and I am very happy with it. It took FAR too long (and lots of patience) to put up and I will never buy another again. But Josh LOVES birds and trees and outside, so I figured, why not bring some of that feeling indoors into a boring basement! We were hit with another snow storm this weekend, (boo) so at least we can see some actual LEAVES inside now!! We cannot wait to get outside more. Josh and I still go outside everyday, no matter the weather we try to brave it. It does wonders for his energy and mine.

Poppy's Doggy Party!

Last Weekend my neice Poppy turned 3! Poppy and I have something very important in common. We Love Dogs!

My Sister Janette decided to throw an "All things doggy" Theme Party. She had doggy cupcakes and even a special cake in a dog bowl covered with Cocoa Puffs (I don't think I can ever view them the same again as I now can see how much they really look like Dog food). There was a bouncy house (which doubled as "the pound"), Obedience school (the kids did tricks and got treats), Dog catchers (daddy's chased kids and put them in the pound), Homemade doggy ears for everyone to wear, and lots of great food. We had a really fun time.
